# DanubeAlert

> DanubeAlert: live water levels of the Danube and its tributaries at 2595 hydrological stations in 16 countries, from the sources to the Danube Delta, from the official data of the national hydrological services. Free: official forecasts, low- and high-water alerts, hydrological bulletins, statistics and a public API.

## DanubeAlert — Danube water levels

- What: water level readings (cm) at hydrological stations in 16 countries of the Danube basin, with history, official forecasts, official thresholds (LDC/HDC, flood defence levels), critical navigation points with depths, hydrological bulletins and public low/high-water episodes.
- Languages: en, ro, hu, at, de, sk, hr, rs, bg. Every page carries its language as the first URL segment ( /en/history/agigea ); the English pages are the x-default of the set.
- Data format: water level in centimetres on the gauge zero of the station; times in ISO 8601 UTC; every page names its official source.
- Stations: 2595.

### Markdown for agents
