These terms apply when you use the DanubeAlert site. Read them together with the privacy policy.
What DanubeAlert is
DanubeAlert is an information tool. It shows water levels on the Danube and its basin rivers, from public data.
DanubeAlert does not replace official flood warnings. When your safety matters, follow the official warning in your country.
Account and alerts
You can read the site without an account. The account and the alerts are free. We ask for no payment and no card details.
You stop any alert with one click, from any email or from the account.
The data and its limits
The data comes from public sources. We show it as it reaches us.
- A reading can arrive late.
- A figure can be wrong.
- A station can be missing altogether.
For safety, check the official warning. The site does not take its place.
API and embed
The API and the widgets are for developers. You may use the data, even commercially, if you say where it comes from.
Say clearly where the data comes from: “Source: DanubeAlert”, with a link to the site.
There are request limits per minute. The developer documentation gives the numbers.
Do not hide the attribution. Do not sell the data as your own. Do not use the API for misleading ads.
Applicable law
The site is operated by PR & ARTS COMMUNICATIONS S.R.L. (CUI 45376502).
Romanian law applies. The courts in Romania decide any disagreement.
